Giving back to the community!

Creative Photographers Guild has always believed in giving back to the Local Staten Island Community. Here President George Roos and Esther instruct the residents of the EGERS NURSING HOME in the use of digital cameras and getting their picture online in a gallery. This is a monthly service we provide and they do provide wall space for us to hang our work and theirs too!

MapOfStatenIsland.net photo exhibit

On March 1- April 30 2006 then CPG Vice President Flint Gennari was invited to showcase the photographs from his www.MapOfStatenIsland.net website at the Kevin Barry Gallery.

On March 10, 2007 Esther had a wonder Reception for her photography at a Lovely Restaurant on Beach Street in Staten Island... Just ask Leo!

Kevin Barry Gallery Grand Opening

On June 30, 2005 The Kevin Barry Gallery opened it's doors in Staten Island. George Roos, the President of the CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY GUILD exhibited his collection of Street Scenes from New York City in the 1960's and 1970's. The event was a great sucess and led the way for many other photographers from the Guild to have work displayed there.

A little about our history!

CPG receives First Grant
At the monthly meeting President George Roos (3.15.06) reveals the
display panels that we brought with the COAHSI grant we received in January. They will be put to use at the EGER Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Egbertville, Staten island.
